Death by choice

What bothers you and why?

What bothers me deeply is the relentless cutting down of trees and forests in our neighborhood to make way for yet another gas station or an unattractive storage facility. This rampant deforestation not only mars the natural beauty of our surroundings but also exacerbates the already unbearable traffic congestion. Trees are not just passive bystanders in our ecosystem; they are vital providers of the oxygen we breathe.

It’s disheartening to witness how we are slowly strangling ourselves by cutting down trees without any significant efforts to plant new ones in their place. This short-sighted approach jeopardizes our environment, our health, and ultimately, our future. The loss of green spaces feels like a loss of sanity, pushing us further away from a sustainable and harmonious way of living.
